As a human being

Growing up in South Africa has instilled a great love for sports and the outdoors in myself and over the past few years I’ve taken up numerous adventure sports and spent a number of months volunteering with wildlife and taking part in nature-related courses. My family has always travelled and has lived in different countries, inspiring me to be a life-time traveller; I enjoy going on adventures and seeing and experiencing new places and cultures. I have a curious mind and delight in understanding the inner workings of both the natural and meachanical. Some of my interests include scuba diving, mountainbiking, camping, biomimicry and conservation.

As a designer

I most enjoy solving problems and have a keen eye for aesthetics. I enjoy all aspects of the design process, especially the areas of design research, sketching and concepting, generating 3D models and renderings, manufacturing drawings and graphics. Attention to detail, product quality and customer satisfaction are important to me. I always try to ensure that the design process has as little negative impact on the environment as possible.
