Ben Chow

As production artist of Calabash Animation Chicago, I am involved in every stage of the production process. From concept to preparing storyboards and presentation, to actual production includes drawing, clean up, scanning to coloring, assist in final checking and parts of the composite.
In addition to working full time @ Calabash, I am also a freelance designer, with experience in magazine and advertising layout, designing characters, logos, icons , brochures, and web sites.
Other projects include animated web banners, flash animation, and motion graphics.

Serving as a freelance illustrator/graphic designer, I have worked with many different art directors, animators, and designers on projects that include logo design, character illustration and greeting cards.

Designer for "Made to Measure" and "Hospitality" magazine. Trade magazines catered to the uniform and hospitality industry; created ads, catalog, articles, and layout for both magazines.
Tiger Toys designed website, created web elements and animation using Flash and other design software. Designed and created elements for projects related to E-learning and other online training programs.
