Leading/managing industrial design, package design and engineering team. Working side by side with marketing and project management to elevate TOMY -The First Years brands by updating and building existing lines and breaking into new juvenile product categories. Designing truly differentiated products that offer benefits and innovation in the categories of large and small furnishings, gates, bathing, health care, safety, feeding and play. Responsible for all aspects of product design and delivering quotation and engineering packages to company overseas office. Responsible for sourcing and managing outside resources when needed within cost and schedule.

Responsible for interfacing with buyers, brand, and product development teams to design innovative products and graphics for Staples branded products in technology, supplies and furniture. Work to evaluate product categories and design product families. Design, coordinate and oversee work conducted by outside vendors.

Internal project leader headed up client product development programs. Responsible as primary interface with client design, marketing, engineering and manufacturing groups. With client input created design development proposals and costing. Managed and produced timely deliverables through all design phases. Compiled and conducted presentations at client locations. Worked closely with the Evo CT team on research, brainstorming, sketching and other deliverables to meet deadlines and budgets.

Designer and project leader, responsible for working on and guiding client design projects. Assisted in the preparation of proposals and project layouts. Projects included design of consumer, medical, business, sports, industrial and juvenile products.

Industrial Designer, Shelton, CT - September 1996 - May 2000
Design of business, consumer and industrial products in an internal corporate design team. Designed product face lifts and ground up developments of parts for varied plastics and metals production processes. Delivered full production data of injection molded parts. Conceived and instituted the use of master modeling techniques for computer modeling and control of interfacing covers and parts. Worked within the group to develop surface modeling and computer rendering skills in CDRS and ProEngineer.

Worked on location with the design director and other group members to develop consumer house wares to fit within the company image and product line, through sketching and modeling .
