Designing the following dolls: 21" (high end) Collectible dolls, 18" and 9" Playdolls, 16" Fashion dolls, 12", 10" and 8" Collectible dolls, Baby dolls, Cloth dolls, Plush Dolls, Puppets, various licensed dolls. o Design from concept to completion o Research through internet, books, licensor style guides, going to performances, and "just seeing what's out there" o Following guidelines from clients for the design of commissioned dolls o Attend design meetings, Meetings with licensors o Draping and drafting, Patternmaking o Hand sewing fabric and wigs o Crocheting, knitting and hand embroidering samples. Dyeing small pieces for samples Jewelry making o Creating development requests from a template for sample development overseas o Handcrafting accessories (sculpting, painting) Explaining construction of designs to stitchers o Reviewing and giving detailed comments and corrections on samples as they come in from overseas o Assembling and styling large groups of 18" Play dolls for review o Creating spec packages to send overseas for production o Creating copy sheets and talking points that describe each doll completely and in detail for publication. Creating biography cards for "History of Fashion" doll line o Packaging design o Packing up dolls for conventions, trade shows, and client reviews. Tracking dolls through licensing process and whenever they leave the premises o Attending conventions and trade shows. Hosting events at the company for the doll collector club
