The position of Communications and Public Affairs Specialist for the Music Department, within the college of Arts and Letters, is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote the Music Department and its programs. Identifying the needs and interests of students, faculty and staff; and carrying out other communication and marketing activities for the department. As a seasoned graphic designer, I design and produce all printed materials for the department. I develop and implement strategies to promote the Music Department and its programs by using market research data to determine the most effective techniques and approaches for reaching target audiences. Responsibilities also include managing social channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others that are part of the department's social media strategy.
As the Box Office Manager, I oversee all sales and transactions for ticket sales, supervision of student employees and ushers, and run the front of the house in the Music Recital Hall during productions.

At Fremont, my role was to design print and web graphics for the Residential Marketing Department in the corporate office. I maintained the companies employee intranet, serving as the Portal Content Manager, using Sharepoint and Dreamweaver on a daily basis. I worked closely with the Communication Specialists and Account Executives (AEs) to design and provide collateral materials for all marketing campaigns and web support at Fremont. Campaigns included design and execution of digital assets and materials from design-to-delivery for Fremont’s B2B website. I also designed Residential Marketing direct mail packages, dynamically driven HTML projects, which included interactive email, multi-teared marketing campaigns, online store, promotions, trade shows, and company branding.

At ESRI I produced a large variety graphics materials ranging from software products and packaging, company wide international marketing collateral, large format trade show displays, CD/DVD packaging, long-format book publishing, company newsletters, magazine design, and production. Within the department, I also worked on multiple teams: Print Team, Trade Show Team, and managed the Graphics office at ESRI’s annual User Conference, which caters to over 10,000 international attendees each year. My other responsibilities included self-managing as well as mentoring and training new employees for the Graphics Department while designing multiple published book designs for the ESRI Press Department.

I was also responsible for archiving and updating graphic files.
