Adam Johnson

I grew up in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in the city of Asheville, North Carolina. Raised with a respect and fervor for the great outdoors, which as a result, have spent a large portion of my life exploring outside. I need the mountains, trees, oceans, and snow. These are the things that inspire me, necessary ingredients in my creative process and my life overall.

Launched in late 2017, my latest creative endeavor, Camp Mug Supply Co. falls somewhere at the intersection of passion project and startup business endeavor. The brand is focused around simple hand-painted mugs designed to inspire adventures. I believe simple products still have a profound place in our lives and even more so as our world becomes more digitally dependent. Currently, I live and working in Portland, Oregon as the lead graphic designer at Under Armour supporting all footwear categories. With a background in product design focused graphics, my role in this position challenges me managing deliverables for multiple teams, staying relevant with trends, understanding evolving production techniques, and a sound understanding of what it takes to create the best product while considering financial constraints, designing for margin efficiency.
