I am an illustrator living in South London.
My work is varied and inspired by a multitude of things; what I produce is largely dependant on my mood. I like to create children's books, design tattoos and use hand-drawn typography. I enjoy using collage, printmaking, ink and watercolour, and biro and pencil.
Most of my work draws on personal experience; people I know, books I've read, songs I've listened to, places I've been.
For me, art is a way to escape reality. In life I am cynical, tomboyish and wear black almost exclusively; in art, however, I enjoy whimsy, colours, pretty things and silliness. I use illustration as a way to extract myself from the real world and submerge myself completely in my imagination.
