Margot's House: final illustrations
A selection fo my final illustrations for my children's book, 'Margot's House'.
The book charts the adventures of a young girl named Margot and her pet piglet as they move into a haunted house and methodically explore each room, confronting the monsters that haunt it (and making some rather unusual new friends in the process). This was my final project for my degree.
All the images are originally ink paintings, coloured in using Photoshop - I used a greyscale colourway throughout to give it a spooky, film noir feel; though subtle colours were integrated at the book's climax.
The final book, like all my other books, is entirely handmade and bound.
