Ruaidhri received a degree in Product Design & Technology from the University of Limerick where he worked on a number of projects during his education from designing a device to prevent drivers falling asleep at the wheel improving the out of box and assembly experience for existing medical products.
He received a product design student entrepreneur award from Entrepreneur Ireland for his final year project Wealth Watch. Ruaidhri prides himself on tackling big problems and future problems with design solutions. Wealth watch is a money management system for use in a cashless society.
Ruaidhri received experience working as a mechanical design intern with 2M Engineering in Eindhoven, NL. The company specialises in electronic sensors for industrial, medical and consumer applications. Here he worked on a variety of projects such as using optical fibres to monitor patients' vital signs, a sports activity tracker which was tested with PSV Eindhoven, a wearable ECG monitor and many other projects.
Ruaidhri's instagram presence has led him to be featured on Adesigneraday.com. He also worked on a project which should be appearing on kickstarter.com very soon.
