Adam Rosenthal has a keen entrepreneurial eye for the business of fashion that has put him in high standing among his peers in FIDM’s Apparel Industry Management program. Originally from Westport Ct, Adam was a cross-country and lacrosse star athlete until he had a career-ending knee injury as a high school freshman. Around the same time he signed up for an introductory design and technology class where his interest in graphic design flourished and soon he was creating his own street wear line, United Threads. While applying to FIDM early decision as a high school junior, he launched the first FIDM Fashion Club in his school, worked as a public relations and marketing intern at Uppityshirts.com, and was presented with the United States Senate Teen Volunteer Award for his work with mentally challenged adults. A self-professed go-getter, Adam currently manages a packed FIDM schedule along with a self-created internship at the burgeoning hat wear design firm Melin. He is the winner of both the FIDM Fashion Club President and Senior Scholarship awards and hopes to further pursue his interest in global street wear fashion with an advanced FIDM degree in International Manufacturing and Product Development.
