Rock Galpin has brought his experience as a key Associate Lecturer on the BA Product Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design since 1998 to Artscom at CSM by developing and running numerous short and online courses since 2007.
The furniture design and product design related courses are either studio based at Kings Cross Central Saint Martins site or online, where students from anywhere around the world may take part online in a live teaching environment.
Galpin runs a number of different courses, Furniture Design for Beginners, Furniture Design- Intermediate courses, 1, 2 and 3 and London/Barcelona twin city and Online courses.

Galpin is working with clients such as Aram, Authentics, Bombay Sapphire (Bacardi Global Brands), Boss, Designers Guild, Heals, Christopher Wray, The British Council, Saatchi & Saatchi, University of the Arts London, Ignite Group, Diageo, Idée, E&Y Co., UDC.
From designing furniture for Zeev Aram (ARAM) graphics/product naming by Alan Fletcher (Pentagram); Furniture designs for Trica Guild at Designers Guild, Presenting as a design expert on UK TV; Drinking glass designs for Bailey's, Diageo for their global advertising campaigns, 'Future of the bathroom 2020' project for KBB; Designing furniture from recycled plastic and straw; Producing furniture collections for our future working environment, thought provoking household products to designing a global travelling exhibition for Saatchi & Saatchi celebrating their 30th year anniversary.

Associate Lecturer on BA Product Design

Rock Galpin has established himself as one of the key Associate Lecturers on the highly regarded BA Product Design course at Central Saint Martine College of Art and Design at Kings Cross, London.
He has taught students who under Galpin's tuition have gone on to win numerous awards, commissions including eye ware and clothing for Oakley, furniture for John Lewis and POS products for Tango. Working also with brands such as, Smeg, Camper, Nintendo, BMW, Harley Davidson and Muji.

Studio Orange

Studio Orange was a furniture design and supply agency, specialising in the design and supply of own brand furniture product collection to interior designers and architects. Rock Galpin also acted as Creative Director for many of the agencies client base.
The work of Rock Galpin was exhibited around the world in over 40 exhibitions in Tokyo, New York and many cities in Europe (Paris, Milan, London etc), receiving international press coverage and began to develop an international client base.
