Concept/form language exploration. The aim was to find a form that best communicated the key areas of interaction: the main on/off for timer functionality, the timer slider, and directionality of the motion sensor. It became clear that the product needed to be as clear in its utility as a standard light bulb and light switch. It also needed to be as accessible in as many light fittings and lamp shades as possible.
