Jonathan Torres

I’m mostly known by the name of Rekal or Rekalism. I’m a freelance designer, illustrator, and fresh letter sprayer based out of the tropical lands of South Florida. I started pursuing my creative ambitions at a young age and I have never looked back or thought twice about what I wanted to do with my time here. Bottom line is I live to create cool things as much as I create cool things to live. Since 2006 the main scope of my creative work has been focused on developing designs, illustrations, and typography for the apparel industry. Since then I’ve gotten the chance to cover many angles ranging from creative development, design, trend-forecasting, production, and consultation. I’ve been very blessed to be given the chance to work alongside amazing talented people which I consider to be great friends and mentors as well as the opportunity to create work for some pretty awesome clients and top brands in the industry. I look forward to furthering my journey as a creative and working with some of you in the future.
