Identification of new business opportunities with a view to attracting a new customer base. A quantitative value approach to business development was a key initiative for the service and product offering. Expansion of business links with external vendors as well as internal. Utilization of on line resources and media links to advertise and promote the new service.

Duties Included: Sourcing of funding for project from local Chamber of Commerce and County Kildare Arts Council, negotiation and securing of appropriate premises, selection and coordination of fourteen quality artists, designers and crafts people, design, coordination and implementation of interior design of premises for business, staff coordination and management, shop management, customer service as well as participating as a crafts person. Within five weeks the shop generated €16,000 in capital.
