Responsible for designing the men’s, women’s and kid’s collections from the Creative Director’s brief. Designed projects involving recycled textile and sustainable fibres. Successfully worked closely with pattern makers to produce the best fit possible. Travelled extensively overseas to develop products, oversee product manufacturing, as well as mentor the junior designers and liaise with local factories and suppliers.
• Improved relationship with overseas factories and material vendors driving production and reducing overall costs
• Re-designed one of the best-selling outsoles improving comfort, stability and grip in only 3 months from sketch to finished product

for prototypes, sample development and production activities in compliance with the costs and
timelines defined for men's footwear. Built strong and successful relationships with tanneries
and factories around the world. Effectively communicated and created accurate tech packs
including bill of materials and detailed sketches for vendors for the development of footwear
components. Worked with 3D operator in the development of outsoles and heels in 3D, using
Rhino and in-house 3D printing.
• Created collaborative relationships with vendors in order to reduce raw material costs by 20%
• Partnered with management in the implementation of a new development process which
reduced development costs by 40% and contributed to a revenue growth of 18%
• Developed the new Fluevog Customs experience, which included and interactive customer
experience for the creation of a limited edition, hand painted shoes with custom wood boxes
