An urban park can be termed as an open space in an urban setting where people can connect to 'nature'. if that is to be achieved it has to be by more than a series of chances seized haphazardly must be by a careful attempt to create the right setting; by conscious design.
City Without Walls
the idea is to create a park with no 'walls' to be literal and a park with no 'barriers' in an intangible sense of the word. an urban space where the city is subtly drawn in to eventually converge at a common point through transects which vary distinctly in their character.
