Dec 2014 - Present (9 years 11 months)
Established in December 2014, working as a freelance designer providing a client focussed service with an emphasis on the development of user specific products. Most recent successes include working with a start up company in London to provide professional visuals and presentation renderings of a design based around open-source robotics. Other key project successes include creating CAD models and manufacturing specifications for a range of 31 homeware gift products for a small South Yorkshire consultancy and designing a smart backpack aimed at the vlogging community for two clients in the South East.

Product Designer
Castleford, United Kingdom
Mar 2016 - Jun 2016 (3 months)
Working as part of the in house marketing and design team I was responsible for:
Developing the current product lines to improve aesthetic/function with far eastern suppliers, utilising SolidWorks as the main design tool to visualise new products from research to concept stage, liaising with the marketing department about product improvements and customer wants/needs presented in the form of professional research presentations, prototyping and testing of product developments using 3D printing, being actively involved with NPD meetings.
As the design department was still fairly new to the business, it was very interesting to see the research and development structure being developed to ensure further company growth, based on the efforts of the marketing department.
