• Collaborate with store commercial triangle to design, develop, and physically execute range presentation solutions via roomsettings and vignettes, with an emphasis on the IKEA brand identity, individual department sales objectives, style expression, living situation, price ladder, the IKEA commercial calendar, and local Atlanta market analysis
• Plan and project manage numerous remodels from conception to completion including: generating technical cad drawings, estimating and sourcing finish materials, creating timelines, assigning tasks to implementation teams, ensuring correct internal product specification and transfers, as well as the scheduling and organization of vendors and contractors
• Design and remodel sales support areas including restaurants, waiting and lounge areas, restrooms, play facilities, and administration offices
• Mentor and train new interior design co-workers on IKEA best practice for planning and implementation
• Partner with store marketing team to design and fulfill internal and external projects, events, and workshops
• *Store planning team lead designer for largest range changeover in IKEA history - the Sektion kitchen cabinet range - by producing construction permit documents for 20 in-store kitchen designs with concurrent installs
• *Honored as store co-worker of the month, May 2013, for successful design, project management, and installation of the Atlanta Symphony Decorator’s Show House bonus room
