-
Senior Industrial Designer
Breville
Apr 2011 - Jan 2012 (9 months)
As senior designer I am responsible for the design and development of innovative small kitchen appliances. I am the lead designer along every stage of a project, from concept, to first production run.
-
Principal Designer
Click Clack Limited
Mar 2010 - May 2011 (1 year 2 months)
My role as principal designer was to ultimately use insights and design to navigate two major house wares brands into new territories.
I have achieved this by utilizing consumer based research and insights, through which I then developed two unique and succinct brand-specific design languages.
At this point I worked closely with product engineers, and production engineers, to take these new product ideas, and develop a range of unique high quality products.

Industrial Designer
Sunbeam
2006 - Apr 2010 (3 years 5 months)
I initial started working for Sunbeam Australia as a junior industrial designer, working with lead designers, and learning the ins and outs of in-house product development.
My project lineage quickly accelerated as I started to prove myself as a passionate, fast learning and forward thinking designer.
Within 6 months of working within the design team, I was given key flagship products to style, develop and ultimately take through to production.
The time I spent at Sunbeam was rich with experiences that have carved out the designer I am proud to be today.
Be it travelling to china to inspect manufacturing and assembly, organizing and running “concept development” workshops, or presenting entire category design directions to the board of directors, Sunbeam was an amazing, and inspiring
experience.

Tiller + Tiller

As a junior designer, I was “thrown into the deep end” across the entire design and product development process.
This role was taught me key elements of design, project and time management, and client relations that simply can not be taught at University.
