Since 2004 I have collaborated annually with Michelin and CCS for the annual Michelin Challenge Design.

This was one of two models chosen to be built for January 2014. Dong Sung built and rendered the model above in my class. I took it over to create a 3D printable model (seen left). The main body is in foam and the rest is entirely 3D printed. The entire clean up process took 10 hours per model.

This model was on display at the Michelin booth at the 2014 North American International Auto Show.
