Oversee facility planning and design consistent with the Facilities Master Plan for the expansion of a complex health system. Develop organization-wide space utilization standards and design guidelines for clinical, research, and administration space in collaboration with Leadership. Lead project reviews with internal cross functional teams through all phases of design for small to large sized healthcare and corporate projects. Manage and supervise consultants to ensure design excellence and brand image are upheld.

Independently lead and manage the programming and design phases for small to large sized healthcare and corporate projects. Lead project reviews with internal cross functional teams to include: Real Estate, Operations, Marketing, IT, Construction and Engineering. Communicate design objectives and direction to Senior Leadership. Manage and supervise consultants to ensure high quality design outcomes, while consistently driving innovation. Manage scope, schedule and budget from pre-design through permitting. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for interior architecture, furniture, environmental graphics and artwork.

Lead transition from locally maintained facility inventory drawings to online national database. Create and analyze organization-wide space utilization standards for clinical and administration space in conjunction with senior management for Medicare cost reporting and reimbursement. Maintain space inventory for clinical and administrative facilities. Supervise A & D firms on as-built condition drawing creation.

Develop space plans, construction documents and detailing for small retail and corporate projects. Review construction documents for compliance with firm standards, mechanical, building systems, codes and ADA requirements. Develop BOMA calculation documentation. Conduct site surveys to develop real estate due diligence reports. Review and respond to RFI’s and technical shop drawings. Process and submit building and health department drawings for review.
