My work is unashamedly extravagant.

It is concerned with craft and beauty: taking as much pleasure in the process and detail as in the overall form.

It acknowledges the past - without revelling in historicism.

It looks forward - without obsessing in technology.

It is always ambitious. Often a little too ambitious, some might say.

I love to live dangerously: to let ideas wander well beyond the safe zone. That is where I get my adrenalin rush. This is design as extreme sport.

Specialties: Design and realisation of sculptural furniture, pure sculpture, and decorative art pieces.

Restoration, completion and customisation of fine antique metalwork.

My background is in mechanical and manufacturing engineering: and my work draws on, and seamlessly merges, a broad spectrum of production methods, from the latest digital techniques to traditional crafts and artisan techniques.
