The changing workplace
This project was the result of a collaboration between SCAD and a leading contract furniture manufacturer here in the US. The design brief consisted of researching the changing workplace and creating concepts to facilitate new collaborative environments.
This design allows for a variety of postures and positions that cater to conversation and technology integration. Upon showing the final concept in rendered form to the client, it was suggested that the back be reduced by 2 inches and the steel legs be strengthened. The resulting design can be seen in the last two images.
