At The Portico Group, I have designed and managed diverse multimillion-dollar projects such as civic buildings, public gardens, museums, interpretive centers, zoos, aquariums and tree houses. I have significant experience in all phases of the planning and design process, and I especially enjoy working with client groups to formalize program, functional relationships and sustainable goals and priorities.
I also have significant experience developing project organization, schedules and contracts, establishing fees and expenses, selecting and managing engineering and specialty consultants, aligning construction costs to meet project budgets, collaborating with client groups, users, and private and public stakeholders.
As project architect or project manager, I have been successful because of my ability to develop strong working relationships clients and user groups; my skill in creating, leading and directing collaborative teams of in-house staff and consultants; and my commitment to meeting client needs and delivering the highest quality project on time and within budget.
