Mark Passmore

Hailing proudly from North Penn High School in Blossburg, PA, home of William B. Wilson, our nation's first Secretary of Labor.

• Majored in Illustration at Syracuse University.

• My first exposure to the printing business came at a weekly Penny-Saver newspaper, where every employee learned every job, from layout and paste-up, to film and plate-making, to operating a Goss web press.

• Illustrator for Thomas Vroman & Associates in Galeton, PA. Produced original art and layouts for school textbooks. Contracts with New York publishers Harper & Row, Random House, American Book Company, etc. Often flew to NYC for extended work at the publisher's location.

• Graphic designer for Greystone Advertising, a full-service marketing and advertising agency in Williamsport, PA. Created advertising and art for various clients for a wide array of products and services.

• Creative Director for Shop-Vac Corporation in Williamsport, PA for 13 years. Managed a 4-person graphics department which produced design and pre-press art for all packaging, labels, instruction manuals, product graphics, logos, print advertising, etc. Oversaw the department's move from mechanical art processes into the Macintosh digital environment.

• Owner/Designer at Passmore Design. Currently operating my own graphic design business.
