Fusion 360 model created after hand sketches and while the head was being fabricated for a beginning machine shop class.
There's no such thing as a "simple" part! Several different diameters of hole and counterbore for this feature alone. Made on an old school Bridgeport mill with DRO accessory.
Detail: mild steel head and tang, aluminum handle threaded onto tang.
Ancient history from the archives: Upgrade of a sign blank cutting jig that previously held 1 blank and one corner at a time. For once, "cheap, fast, good" came as a package. 400% increase in production.
