My experience within creative fields is both broad and deep. I received my BA from Alfred University (2005) and my MFA from Purdue University (2015). I have 10 years of experience working with graphic design for print media using Adobe InDesign, including print production.
My video editing and motion graphics experience covers Final Cut (12 years), Adobe Premiere (5 years), and After Effects (12 years). In addition to editing, I have experience with script writing, color correction, and shooting video using DSLRs.
My personal, fine art photography consists primarily of travel, architecture, and landscape, but I am comfortable in many other genres using both DSLRs and advanced mirrorless camera platforms.
Through my graduate studies, I have a total of almost 5 years of teaching experience at Purdue University and University of Maine and was the instructor of record for all courses with the exception of one. My teaching experience covers new media, programming, 2D design, 3D design, and motion graphics. Some of the software platforms I have taught (with my professional experience listed) include Adobe Photoshop (12 years experience), Illustrator (10 years), InDesign (10 years), After Effects (12 years), Premiere (5 years), Final Cut (12 years), MaxMSP (11 years), Autodesk 3D Studio Max (2 years), Arduino (5 years), and Processing (4 years).
Lastly, I have extensive advertising systems administration experience, including OS X Server, OS X desktop troubleshooting and support, FileMaker Server, custom database design, digital asset management system administration and implementation, and web content management in Drupal.
