The new EOS sphere is an organic, three sided pebble shape that feels smooth and natural in the hand, representing the blend of natural oils inside the balm formula.
Evolution of Smooth challenge: to evolve their iconic sphere lip balm. The pebble was designed to be distinctly EOS, and uniquely more organic and irregular.
The new structure was initially used for the new EOS Crystal Lip Balm launch, and then was expanded upon to house the latest launch of EOS Tinted Lip Balm.
The new EOS Crystal Lip Balm launched as a petrolatum- and gluten-free, vegan formula with clear shea butter, natural coconut, avocado, castor-seed, sunflower and aloe oils. The form factor communicates this all natural formula using a soft yet irregular shape that feels like something that could be found in nature.
The structure was later adapted for the tinted lip balm collection using a dual colorway that highlights the different vibrant tints on the top cap.
