Barney Ogola

Graduated an Interior Designer, but really I'm an all round designer and entrepreneur. Studied design concepts in 66 different units over my full course and graduated with a Second Upper. I won an award in Interior Design in my 3rd year and my project paper was published by the University as one of the best articles. I also started Upart Together in school and had over 8,000 followers by the time I was finishing...we now have over 30,000. While in school, we also rehabilitated street children and started a crafts group dubbed ''Hapa Arts'' which continues to make ans sell recycled arts to date.

In my high School studies, I attained an A- overall and a straight A in the arts. I was also made Captain in my fourth year for the Basketball squad 2007,hence a reminder of my leadership skills. I was also privileged with the task of redesigning all the schools' kits from basketball, football, netball, hockey, handball and volleyball kits hence my interests in fabric/textile design. In illustration, my work was featured in an exhibition termed ''If the shoe fits'' held in Chicago in 2005. All in all in my final examination I topped my whole school in the arts, and was among the top in the country too.
