I am a student in Savannah College of Art and Design’s service design major with a concentration in industrial design and furniture design, and an associates degree in graphic design. I was attracted to service design because it blends my two passions, design and business. I feel that service design has the potential create a paradigm shift in how businesses interact with their employees and customers.
Our first service design project, and a visual model that I created appeared in the April/May 2010 issue of the Service Design Network’s journal Touchpoint.
