In May 2013, I graduated with first class honours from the professionally accredited B.Sc. (Hons.) Architectural Technology in the Dublin School of Architecture, Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Bolton Street, Dublin 1.
The honours degree was a one year add-on to the three year ordinary degree, which I completed with an upper merit division in 2012.
My dissertation entitled "An Investigation into the Water Retention and Hydrological Performance of Traditional and Innovative Extensive Green Roof Systems" explored the traditional methods of green roof systems currently available on the market while implying the proposal of a new improved solution with construction application and testing.
My dissertation idea was considered for further research funding by DIT Hothouse (Innovation and Technology Transfer Office).
Currently, I am actively seeking a position as an Architectural Technologist to develop further my skills and experience.
My personal skills include:
Autodesk AutoCAD & Revit, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign, Quark XPress, Google SketchUp with V-Ray rendering plug-in, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint), Building Regulations (TGD, IS, BS, EN), Building Legislation (Contracts & Procurements), National Building Specification (NBS), Detail Design & Construction Solutions.
