My exciting role here encompasses all of the below:
•My favourite part of the job, involves researching ideas to increase membership rates, and bike hire utilisation – this part of the work allows me to be creative, experimental and try out new ideas.
•My recent marketing campaign ‘Recommend a friend’ has been a great success, more than 50 new members have joined and it continues to grow everyday…
• Supporting the marketing/sales team with all corporate marketing related activities such as, visiting our corporate customers, and showcasing the product and service, building promotional graphics…
• Updating the Brompton Dock website content (CMS) and everywhere else on third party sites.
• Creating interesting and fun content (photos/videos) for the social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Pinterest)
• Maintaining all in-house design work, which includes creating posters, flyers, leaflets, stationary and stickers (artwork design for partners, one-off banners, and adverts).
• Developing and implementing post marketing strategies which increase customer loyalty and membership utilisation through email marketing (e-shots such as ‘happy birthday gift’, ‘we miss you’, or ‘member of the month’ emails…)
• Maintaining relationships and liaising with key contacts where necessary to implement the marketing strategies put in place.
• Building mini marketing campaigns, supporting one-off events such as 'Bike Week' 'Cycle to Work Day', as well as organising competitions and other campaigns through the website and social media touch points.

My main work involved co-ordinating with the marketing manager and sales director to facilitate the creation of all promotional material (catalogue) for the sales team.
I was responsible for maintaining and updating the new electronic data, filing paperwork, and liaising with the OSG offices in Europe regarding the building of the new catalogue, along with solving various other ad-hoc activities.

I played a “key” liaison between the various parties involved with the provision of security for the London Olympics and Paralympics Games as and where appropriate.
I did my best to develop, maintain and grow strong relationships within the G4S team, and other key stakeholders involved with delivering the games. So that problems can be solved quickly and go through the right channels.
I utilised my knowledge and experience to recognise, and capture key information from developing situations, and ensured a range of responses, that will quicken the redeployment of staff within/amongst the Olympic Games Venues.
Overall I acted as the first point of contact for LOCOG and G4S GSCC Olympic and Paralympics Games workforce operations.
