Born in Flagstaff, Arizona, I grew up on the Navajo Reservation in a small town called Tuba City. In 1999 my mother and I moved to Rochester, Minnesota where my mother is currently a high school English teacher. With a teacher for a parent, I grew up in an environment that fostered learning, diversity, and creativity. In Rochester, I attended a small charter art school where I was exposed to a unique learning environment and graphic design.
My interests in photography and art have guided my goals towards something productive and meaningful. In 2010, I came to Bemidji State University where I was recently able to fulfill all requirements to receive my bachelor of science in Art and Design with an emphasis in digital and exhibit design. My current career objectives include becoming a print and electronic graphic designer in the Minneapolis St Paul area and hopefully, in the future, I hope to become an Art Director in the San Francisco bay area in California.
