The seeing of problems and implementation of solutions, be it a social issue like the Information Architecture of mental models vs. working models, or the innovation of finding a better way to deal with powercords and their storage. There needs to be a very strong and in-depth process of research that guides the design. To find those answers I really need to learn and understand the users in context, immerse myself, and just learn.
