This is the first in the following series of three paintings done as experiments in my color theory class.
This painting is done in acrylic paint and is also a study in color theory. It depicts the rooftops of Drexel's campus, broken down into basic forms, and then painted in a color scheme of tertiary colors.
This etching was done on a copper plate in my Printmaking class at Manatee Community College.
This print was created by painting directly on a plexiglass plate and then pressing that into the paper.
Drawing of ribbons and marble in graphite.
Charcoal drawing of a teddy bear.
Self-portrait done for figure drawing class in graphite.
Drawing of my hand in graphite for Figure Drawing.
Feet. Graphite. Figure Drawing.
For the Figure Drawing class, we were required to draw pages out of Bridgman's Anatomy Series as homework exercises. This and the following samples are such exercises.
The following photographs were taken in my first photo class. We shot with a Nikon D50 exclusively in black and white, and the photos were enhanced using Photoshop CS4.

Fine Arts

Ever since I was a young child, I had a strong interest in art. However, during high school, I put this on hold in order to pursue my academic studies. But before coming to Drexel, I took Fine Arts back up again, along with Graphic Design. I feel that having a solid foundation in traditional art and design has been invaluable in the digital field.
