Thank you for taking the time to review my profile! Allow me to tell you a little bit more about myself.
I received my first degree in architecture in 2008 from Miami University (the one in Ohio, not Florida). After graduation, I worked in the field of architecture. Although I loved architecture I decided to go back to school and started studying Game Art and Design at The Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago. Here I was able to combine my fine eye for design and spaces while allowing me unlimited environments and mediums for my creativity. I graduated with my second degree in 2011 and immediately started working for Genius Circuit in the rapidly growing app development field, where I still am today. Recently, I also started working for Slightly Off Productions doing animations and art direction for comic series "Against the Grain."
In my spare time when I am not producing art and animations for GC and SOP, I engage in freelance work . Previous clients have included the Chicago Architecture Foundation, Cafe Pasiflora, Charge App, and The Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago.
In whatever free time I am able to muster, I like to read fantasy and science fiction, study history and architecture, do creative writing, and, most importantly, get out to experience and enjoy life. As an artist, I think it is vital to constantly expose ourselves to new and diverse things because only then can we truly grow and improve upon ourselves.
Specialties: 3D modeling and animation, lighting, texturing, 2D animation, compositing. Proficient with Maya, ZBrush, Unity, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe InDesign.
