I took the role of Prototype Engineer to extremes while at Granicus. I was tasked with designing and building a new approach for their struggling civic engagement app. Using my expertise from Code for America I rebuild CivicIdeas from the ground up. These prototypes were used to build a fully-functional CMS and engagement platform. The platform is being used by over 50 cities in the US and Canada. There are lots of functions like this printable meeting agenda, that are designed for city officials. I build Bootstrap-like templates for other developers to use in the future. This was a true passion project and it shows in detailed UI elements and interactions I created.
