It was always my opinion, that crossbodies were very basic soft goods that one carried around as a quick necessity. To me, they were associated with basic, quick and boring. I was challenged to come up with a crossbody that is exciting, chic, fashionable and can be worn day or night. The viridian leather accents the python-print canvas beautifully, and accentuates the white, black and gray notes that the print carries. The gold makes the bold, deep colors and print of the python pop and brings a whole new depth of design to the crossbody. I used gold-colored zippers with navy blue-colored zipper tape, as I felt the navy blue highlighted and complemented the blue undertones of the viridian green.
