Name's Matthew Nouv and I was born in Fairfax, Virginia. I came to Massachusetts at a early age and discovered my taste for design as I enrolled to Mass. College of Art and Design at Boston,Massachusetts. Innovation and new conceptions is what drives me to be an Industrial Designer. My favorite thing to do as a designer is sketching. My style of drawing inspires me to think of new shapes which gradually improve my way of thinking as a designer every day. Prototyping is also another part of the process that I enjoy. Transforming my 2D sketches into 3D model with refinement and finishing is always a challenge yet creative and fun. I love how small changes can make a big difference in our everyday life. From my perspective, innovated ideas are like art, it can be for either the function and or the visual design of the product.
As a child, I have a strong sense of curiosity that my older siblings do not have. I have been reading a new book titled "The Name of the Wind" and "The Wise Man's Fear" by Patrick Rothfuss. I love his stories so much! And still read it every once a while. I spent most of my time with my family and half of the time practicing my design skills whenever I can. I would say working out is my #1 hobby to stay fit before sitting at a desk for the rest of the day (best method to maintain my weight in my opinion). I enjoy helping my fellow peers and encourage younger minds to appreciate education. I love the outdoors, especially when I go to New Hampshire every fall season with my family.
