Mike Mason is currently the Creativ Director for CatalystCreativ, an experience studio. As Creativ Director, Mike works directly with a portfolio of clients to develop visual identities and innovative brand strategies, most notably in the sports and entrepreneurship industries. This past year, Mike's clients have included the inaugural Popeyes Bahamas Bowl, Conference USA, Battle 4 Atlantis, and University of Kentucky Men's Basketball. In addition to his client-facing projects, Mike also leads the creative direction for the CatalystCreativ brand and all CatalystCreativ events.
Prior to joining CatalystCreativ, Mike worked as an Athletic Marketing Assistant for UConn Athletics, overseeing marketing activities for UConn’s 24 varsity sports with an intent focus on graphic design, digital media, and brand development. During his three years with UConn Athletics, Mike’s work was highlighted by working with two National Championship programs, assisting in the coordination and production of ESPN’s College Gameday, and supporting with graphic design projects for UConn’s first BCS Bowl Game at the 2011 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
A Rochester, NY native, Mike is a 2010 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Business with a BS in Marketing. He also completed his Master’s in Sport Management & Marketing from UConn in May 2013. Mike currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.
