Worked as in-house designer for several printing businesses. One employer managed copy and printing services for several Boston colleges. I created designs for many pieces, following the project from initial meeting to prepress files, while maintaining the branding unique to each College.

Working closely with pressmen gave me an excellent knowledge of spot, 4c and digital printing, and the problems that can arise on press. Short turnaround time made me accustomed to working under tight deadlines.

  In my thirty-plus years as a designer, I have gained an extensive amount of experience both freelance and on the job in the graphic field. Most of my career has been working as an in-house designer for printing businesses, working closely with both the production manager and the printer, involved in all matters of pre-press production. Because the turnaround time on almost all of our projects were usually a few days, I am accustomed to working under extremely tight deadlines.
