"Pooka" Character Design. Patterning, cutting, and gluing (using industrial strength barge) various types of sheet foam into hollow dimensional shapes. Covering foam pieces in various types of mesh fabric, to sew around and create "pockets" around foam pieces. Sewing all covered foam pieces together, to create specified shape for costume body pod. Hand sewing seams together, to create a fluid body pod shape, as well as connecting pieces (elastic, webbing, D-Rings, etc.). Draping fabrics over completed body pods, to create patterns for costume covering (fabric dependent on project). Sewing and completing finalized costume project for the Blumhouse series: "Into the Dark", Episode: "Pooka".

Stitcher’s Assistant – Assist with stitching projects for Day Ops in the park, and special park events (Knott’s Merry Farm, Knott’s Scary Farm, Summer shows, etc.), assist with wardrobe desk, stocking for uniform wardrobe department, as well as maintaining all costume stock for various park special events (Ghost Town Alive, all theater shows, special events, etc.). Head Dresser – Maintaining costumes before, during, and after all performances for all performers. Making any on-the-spot, quick fixes to any costumes in need. Providing all cast with backup costume pieces, should something happen with the current ones. Helping performers (including Dancers, Ice Skaters, Actors, Stunt Performers, Magician, and Magician’s Assistants) in and out of costumes, backstage, while show is going on. Cleaning of all costumes, after each performance. Swing Dresser – Learning different tracks for all characters in the show, to ensure that track is covered, should a dresser call out for any performance(s). Dressing the character performers into the detailed character suit, piece by piece, as well as maintaining the proper look/fit for the costumes for each character (ex. “Charlie Brown”). Quick change help for any/all of the ice skaters, stunt performers, actors, dance performers, magician, magician’s assistants. Handling all walking paths, for character performer on the specific track, as their visibility is limited while in costume. Calling out directions, when needed, as well as lighting up hazards for all onstage performers, when they return backstage. Making any needed fix/alterations to all costumes on show, as well as any needed for accessories (shoes, hats, dancer fans, etc.). Maintaining the daily cleanliness of each costume provided to performers, by laundry, or specific cleaning methods used on character suits.
