Misha van Schalkwyk

A toy display unit was created by simplifying the classic microscope. Focusing on handcraft, the display unit was made with off-cuts from four different hard woods. The grains and colours were emphasised and used to differentiate the various parts, connected by the traditional mortise and tenon joint.
