The Petalo ceramic set was created for serving of a specific signature dish at a gourmet restaurant. Sleek organic shapes and natural colours are applied to emphasise the serving of stacked flapjacks with honey, sliced lemon, cinnamon and icing sugar. Slip casting moulds were formed from the master shapes of both the plate and honey pourer, to be used for mass production of the vessels.
