Led Cluster ID Teams with focus on advanced concepts, new form factors, new experiences. Designed multiple successful mobile phones & accessories for the US market. Among these, the Samsung Alias 2 product stands out, as it was the first mobile phone to offer a multimode user experience, and to utilize e-ink displays under each individual QWERTY key (allowing users to switch between languages seamlessly and using the same hardware globally). The Samsung Capella jewelry-like headset concept was a unique look at wearables, in a moment when most other Bluetooth headsets were extremely conservative. The design won an Innovation Award at the 2009 CES in Las Vegas, but subsequently the company elected to cancel production, and released a much more conventional in-ear solution.

Co-founded a design-centric startup, aiming to change how household and pet products are designed, manufactured and sold. Generated a large number of advanced concepts and product ideas: a patented pet bed, made out of durable environment-friendly materials, modular recyclable packaging, kitchen accessories, water bottles, etc. As part of this creative work, the popular Drinkwell 360 pet fountain stands out- it is successful and continues to sell well in a variety of iterations. This startup experience was unique and inspiring, it enabled a creative collaboration with some of the most talented industrial designers of our time. The team experienced insurmountable hurdles due to the Great Recession of 2008.
