Glove - Bike Mechanic
The brief for this 5 week project involved making a task specific glove. The instructor gave us a list of tasks that we chose from blindly (as in, without seeing it before hand). I chose Bicycle Mechanic. I created a 35 page Tech Pack and we had the gloves sent to a factory in China. We later received samples of our gloves.
I designed the glove for easy removal and to allow the mechanic to wear a disposable nitrile glove underneath. I also designed a wrist mounted tool system to hold small tools and small parts while not in use.
