My broad experience in leading design agencies, in-house design functions has equipped me with a strong understanding of consumer marketing and consumer insights for retails and design management of FMCG mega brands,
I have held various senior positions including Design Manager, Department Design Head and Director level with global and regional responsibilities at DSGI (UK/EU) Thomson (US), Philips (Global), P&G (US & China), and Sedgwick Richardson, managing 6 to 8 reporting staff, in additional to external design and production agencies.
My recent years have been in the Consumer Electronics industry where I was tasked in building strategically strong visual and structural brand packaging design. This includes resource planning (internal and external) in designing, photography and artworking packaging and instructional content creation, print management and authorizing timely shipment delivery within the Critical Path. My visual communications design services to internal and external clients include creation of brand identity (packaging and instructional content), retail merchandising displays, POP/POS and retail flash-based videos.
I enjoy leading multicultural teams, aligning design deliverables with brand strategies and market appropriateness, working collaboratively across the functions, engaging senior directors (business units) in new product initiatives, trend forecasting, driving design strategies and functional costs savings, productivity and value creation.
