Before advertising, my life took a few detours. I let high school kids beat me up in Kyoto, I threw the White House Press Corps off a bungy bridge, I taught strippers to snowboard in California and Jamaicans to ski Switzerland, and I convinced grannies to play the markets in the UK. Obviously, copywriting was the next logical step.
I’ve worked on everything from successful TVCs to social media product launches. I’m happy to play Above the Line, Below the Line or Through the Line. Sometimes, just for giggles, I like to pick up the line and make little rope snakes out of it.
I should also mention I was the Communications Manager for Destination Queenstown and a Marketing Exec in the UK, so I can sometimes have a spooky ability to understand the client’s perspective.
