Senior Industrial Designer responsible for the design of custom promotional soft goods products.

Founder and Principal of Grayman Studio LLC, specializing in the design and development of technical softgoods, casual bags, travel luggage, and related accessories for established brands as well as new startups.

Responsible for managing all aspects of design and development of soft side carry gear and travel luggage, from initial brief all the way through to final sample approval.

As Senior Designer, was responsible for the design and development of exclusive American Tourister soft-side travel luggage for Target, Walmart, Sears, JCPenny, Kmart, and Disney along with the core assortment for national chain stores.
Was also responsible for the design and development of Samsonite soft-side travel luggage for the Samsonite Company Stores.

As Lead Senior Designer, was responsible for the design and development of exclusive Samsonite soft-side travel luggage collections for Macy's, Kohl's, JCPenny, eBags, Costco, Sam's Club, BJ's, and Amazon along with the core assortment for national chain stores.

Instructed sophomore students in some of the fundamental technical tools used in industrial design to ensure proficiency in freehand drawing, Illustrator, and Photoshop with an emphasis on "real world" tactics, workflow, and speed.

I also acted as a mentor to upperclassmen looking for advice to improve their skills before setting out to start their careers.

All phases of Industrial Design for a wide range of clients from small startups to global companies such as Whirlpool, KitchenAid and Procter & Gamble. Specialized in forward thinking, innovative and conceptual design that would help to provide the roadmap for a company’s design direction for years to come.
Research, ideation, concept development and refinement, proof of concept models, Visual Brand Language (VBL), CAD, Solidworks, Illustrator, User Experience (UX) design, User Interface (UI), Illustrator and Photoshop presentation renderings.

Was responsible for all phases of product design and development. Insured the quality of final design packages / spec packs for all kinds of soft sided luggage. Communicated with Chinese coordinators to ensure that the final product met design and quality standards and could be produced at or below a predetermined price point. Created the catalog of Illustrator line art to be used for all design packages to help ensure consistent design package quality for clarity in communicating with the far east factories.
