Mic Schut

I am a senior graphic designer with over 10 years of experience at different design agencies, working as in-house designer in both print and digital environments. Started my career as a pre-press print assistant and desk top publisher, became graphic designer, lead creative designer and sr. designer. I've worked together with individuals, small business and multinationals and have been involved in local, national and international campaigns.

Since 2015, I relocated to the Unites States from Europe and have been freelancing in NYC. I create branding materials, logos, brand-books, annual reports, advertising, social media content, and all types of marketing collateral, from concept to completion, across various platforms. Additionally, I am familiar with web design. I also have knowledge of UI/UX design and I have produced and launched my own mobile app ‘LogoLicious’.

I studied Communication & Design in the Netherlands (St. Lucas, Boxtel) and have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Graphic Design & Arts (University of Lincoln, UK 2004). I am fluent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign and I am comfortable around all social media platforms. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office applications. I thrive in fast-paced climates and I am accustomed to handling tight deadlines. I am a self-starter who is used to working in teams, working independently and/or remotely.

Passionate about lettering and typography, logo design, tech, t-shirt prints and ideation. I am always interested in new business, concepts, collaborations or even new career opportunities.

I am available for freelance design jobs, and 1-on-1 consulting sessions, but also open to part- or full-time positions.
